Steel Authority of India Limited, the company is among the seven Maharatnas of the country’s
Central Public Sector Enterprises, published an recruitment advertisement for Operator cum Technician (Trainee ) posts in Bhilai Steel Plant.
 The total numbers of Vacancies for Operator cum Technician (Trainee ) posts are 330, and the Discipline wise Vacancies are as mentioned below.

Pay details: The pay scale & scale code for the selected candidates are 9160-3%-13150/- (S-3)
Age Criteria: Candidate must have 18 years and the upper age limit not above 28  years as on 01/09/2013. The upper age limit is relax able to various category of candidates.

Education Qualification: Three year’s full time Diploma in Engineering in any of the following disciplines from an Institute recognized by State / Central Government  

1. Metallurgy for OCT Metallurgy
2. Electrical for OCT-Electrical
3. Mechanical or Mechatronics for OCT Mechanical / Mechatronics;
4. Computer Science / IT for OCT-Computer Science or IT
5. Electronics for OCT-Electronics and
6. Instrumentation for OCT-Instrumentation.

Application Form fee: Rs 250/- for General, OBC and Rs. 50/- for SC / ST / PwD / departmental candidates. Fee pay slip is available in website.  (exempted in the case of SC / ST / PWD candidates). which can be paid at All core banking branches of State Bank of India (SBI), which  has been authorized to collect the Fee in specially opened Account No. 32549519300 at Sector -1 Branch, Bhilai, on behalf of BSP, SAIL.

Selection procedure: Selection will be based on written test and interview, which will be provided in admit card. The Tentative Date of Written Test will be confirmed in Admit Card.

How to apply: Candidates apply Online application forms from 05/10/13 at SAIL’s website: www.sail.co.in. Choose “Career with SAIL” and then check under BSP / Bhilai Steel Plant. No other means / mode of application will be accepted.

Last Date: Last Date to submit online application form is 04/11/13.
